Should we use men deodorant when over-sweating?

Body odor is an embarrassment in public places. Everybody wishes to smell good when out with their friends, at the gym or at a meeting, now more than ever people aren’t willing to compromise their health and are choosing a natural deodorant over commercial men deodorant products on a daily basis.

Why should we use deodorant spray? It is because of the body odor. Why there is body odor? It is the result of excessive sweat. Sweating is one part of puberty. People have an average of two to four million sweat glands. But how much sweat is released by each gland is determined by many factors, including gender, genetics, environmental conditions, age or your fitness level. Everyone needs this bodily function to naturally cool off and get rid of excess heat from working muscles, detoxify dissolved solids, and send sodium back into the blood to maintain salinity in the body. That’s to say, sweating is a normal thing.

Sweat isn't inherently stinky. In fact, it's nearly odorless. However, you should notice whether you’re excessive sweating. About 3% of the population has excessive sweating. It is also called hyperhidrosis, meaning that you sweat far more than your body needs you to sweat. For example, if you sweat while sitting calmly at your desk, that is excessive sweating. If you’re excessive sweating, the body's cooling mechanism is so overactive that it produces four or five times the amount of sweat that you need.

The possible health danger caused by using body spray for men is the reason for what many people don’t want to use deodorants. Some believe that continuous use of deodorants increases the risk of breast cancer. Deodorants are often sprayed in the armpits which are very near to the breasts. Getting inside the skin the aluminium mimics oestrogen which develops the causes of breast cancer. If you find that your underarms are irritated, it may be an allergic reaction to the aluminum which is toxic to the body. Deodorants contain aluminum and synthetic fragrances, undesirable components many people are sensitive to. Besides, you should realize that some body sprays will stain your clothes.
